The Clash of Clans World Championship Series returns for 2026, and the kickoff date is locked: May 29, 2026.
A few headlines for the new season:
- 🏰 Town Hall 18 is the battlefield. All competitive matches are played on the highest Town Hall in the game.
- 💰 $1,000,000 total prize pool spread across the Monthly Finals, the Last Chance Qualifier, and the World Championship Finals.
- ⚔️ Town Hall Cups return alongside the main competition, with brackets for players still on Town Halls 9, 12, and 15.
- 🎯 Same proven structure as 2025. Four monthly seasons funnel teams up the bracket, with the LCQ and the China Regional Qualifier filling out the eight World Finals slots.
The road to glory
Every Monthly Season runs in three stages.
- Ladder Stage. A 5 day ladder inside the game where every team can play up to 20 matches. Win matches, climb the leaderboard. Only the top 128 teams advance.
- Monthly Qualifier Bracket. A 128 team double elimination bracket. Only the top 8 make the Monthly Final.
- Monthly Final. 8 teams, double elimination, one Golden Ticket on the line for the winner.
Four monthly seasons produce four monthly champions. Each earns a direct seat at the World Championship Finals.
The other Golden Tickets
- 🇨🇳 China Regional Qualifier awards one Golden Ticket to the top Chinese team.
- 🛡️ Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ). The top 8 teams by season Leaderboard points who have not yet earned a Golden Ticket. Three more tickets are handed out here, double elimination.
4 monthly + 1 China + 3 LCQ = the 8 Golden Ticket holders who fight for the title at the World Finals.
