Ahead of the 2026 season, Supercell has published a sharper, more predictable Fair Play and Disqualification structure. The motivation: cheating does not just hurt one player. It hurts the team they are representing and the community watching at home.
The new framework rests on four principles.
- A ToS Ban punishes the game account.
- A Disqualification punishes the human behind the account.
- Player infractions and team infractions are tracked on separate lists.
- Team offenses stack no matter which player on the roster caused them.
Player offense layers
These follow the human across all of their accounts, and persist across seasons unless explicitly reset.
- 1st offense. Out for the rest of the current Qualifier plus the next Qualifier.
- 2nd offense. Out for the current Qualifier plus three more.
- 3rd offense. Out for one full year from all competitions. Every subsequent offense restarts that one year clock.
Team offense layers
Tracked only within the current competitive season.
- 1st offense. Team keeps its points and may continue using its registered sixth player.
- 2nd offense. Team loses one third of its season points, is removed from the current Qualifier, and cannot use its sixth player.
- 3rd offense. Team loses all of its season points, is removed from the current Qualifier, and cannot use its sixth player. Further offenses keep applying the same third layer punishment.
Every Disqualification event updates both lists. One Player infraction for the human, one Team infraction for the roster they were representing at the time.
What happens to 2025 suspensions
The new structure applies retroactively to players already suspended last season.
- Players suspended at any time during 2025 start 2026 at the second player offense layer if they trip again.
- Players suspended April to July 2025 may return for the 1st Monthly Qualifier of 2026 under that second offense status.
- Players suspended in August 2025 or during the LCQ may return for the 2nd Monthly Qualifier of 2026 under the same status.
What this means for you
Play fair and nothing changes for you. Cross the line and the penalties are now visible, stack quickly, and put your entire team's season at risk.
Clash on.
